Fereydoun Verdinezhad, Secretary General of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, met and discussed with a group of sustainability ambassadors and social responsibility managers of private sector organizations and enterprises in a meeting organized by the Tehran Chamber’s Organizations and Social Responsibility Affairs Department. The meeting emphasized the need to explain the social responsibility of enterprises and organizations and develop activities related to business sustainability. Representatives of the Satsa Association also attended the meeting to exchange information and present the association’s programs in furthering the meeting’s goals. The meeting discussed how to promote sustainable and responsible actions and brainstormed on promotional and educational programs in the field of social responsibility and sustainable business.

According to the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and Industry Public Relations, in this meeting, which was also attended by the sustainability ambassadors of organizations in various units of the Tehran Chamber, Amirreza Bidgoli, Director of Organizations and Social Responsibility Affairs of the Tehran Chamber, and Fereydoun Verdinezhad, Secretary General of the Tehran Chamber, referring to the importance of developing corporate social responsibility in economic enterprises, stated that in line with the strategic plan of the tenth term of the Tehran Chamber, the goals and missions of the Chamber in the field of social responsibility have also been formulated, and therefore, promoting sustainable measures and dialogue and exchange of views with organizations with the aim of preparing and developing training courses in this field have been placed on the agenda of the Organizations and Social Responsibility Affairs of the Tehran Chamber. In this approach, the Tehran Chamber is trying to focus on creating effective and increasing interaction in its relationship with organizations and economic enterprises and its members.

According to the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and Industry Public Relations, Vardinezhad pointed out that the Tehran Chamber seeks to establish a constructive and sustainable relationship with organizations, and noted that the chamber will also benefit from the organizations’ successful experiences in the field of social responsibility. In this regard, he pointed out that the Tehran Chamber is ready to hold educational and interactive workshops with the aim of promoting sustainable development in organizations and enterprises.
