IMICO is a construction management company in the field of mining and mineral industries, which has entered the field of industry with the aim of integrating and managing knowledge and transferring technology in four areas: construction of plants, construction of systems, manufacturing machines and equipment, and manufacturing parts. Establishing a connection and integration between all the elements of the implementation of a project by an Iranian company and facilitating the interactions within a project and in other words (managing the construction of a project) in all four areas is the main mission of IMICO. Moreover, transferring technology in these four areas in the field of mining and mineral industries, gaining and settling it in IMICO, and then using it in future projects is one of our other main goals.

IMICO acts as a construction manager in establishment of plants in mining and mineral industries. Integrating the final services of contractors in various fields and delivery of the plant as a coherent set to the employer, and knowledge management created in all stages of project, are other tasks of IMICO. Each plant is made up of several systems that work together. IMICO has the mission of manufacturing management in smaller dimensions than a factory and at the level of systems, and plans and the engineering steps required to create a system in accordance with the nature and function of that system, and manages interactions with various contractors to deliver the final system to the employer in a coherent manner. Equipment in the mining industry has different levels of technology. IMICO operates toward equipment manufacturing management by forming a network of engineering, manufacturing and production companies and manages interactions among them. Manufacturing at the level of part means planning and engineering the various steps in making a part, cooperating with expert contractors to perform each step, preparing the final product and guaranteeing its quality, and delivering the final product to the employer. With a focus on supplier network management, IMICO is able to produce parts with appropriate quality and price in the shortest time and according to customer requirements. Reverse engineering is another aspect of IMICO's work in this area.
